menu week twenty-four
This menu works well all year 'round but is especially filled with the tastes of fall. Moroccan Chicken and Olives is succulent and tender! Sweet and Sassy Turkey Burgers with optional Cranberry Sauce and Butternut Pecan Pie will taste great when it gets blustery outside! Let the Spicy Pork Salad meat cook in the crock pot on Day 3, then you can make the quick Tomatillo Salsa at the last minute for tons of flavor. This week you make two spice mixes that can be used later to add flavor to other meats and/or vegetables; Moroccan Spice Mix and Sausage Spice Mix. Mix some with ground turkey on Day 4 to make Sausage & Eggs, then make a pile of Jim's Fluffy Pancakes to go with the eggs. We just love San Antonio Tacos made with chicken! Leftover pork also works great. Something about the crispy meat and all the flavors in the citrusy slaw combine to make an amazing meal. Make the Great Zucchini-Tomato Beef Casserole when you want an all-in-one meal that everyone can tuck into. Butternut Pecan Pie has been a NoMoreCrohns favorite for years and when you taste it, you'll know why! This week you'll eat well and will come back to make this menu again!
