-Lately, with talk of food shortages, I've been doing a lot of dehydrating with the Luvele Breeze dehydrator! I've dehydrated onions, broccoli, fruit, spinach, and made a green powder with dehydrated greens, and plan to do more!
-You can also make your own onion powder and garlic powder by dehydrating them and grinding them up.
-I personally extend the life of my dried food even more by vacuum sealing and freezing it, and in case the power goes out I can put them on a shelf and they'll still last for a long time.
-I do a lot of freezing of legal meats, frozen fruits and vegetables, homemade broth, and legal cooked beans, and nuts. I use and replace these as needed to keep them rotated and fresh.
-Shelf stable items I keep on hand and slowly use and replace are: navy beans, split peas, legal dried fruit like raisins, legal juices, legal peanut butter, and legal dehydrated powdered eggs, like the Auguson Farms one below.
-Water filtering systems such as a ceramic one or Lifestraw are great to have on hand!
-The Biolite products are wonderful for providing solar powered phone chargers, camp stoves, lanterns, and so many other items!
