Paper leis, Hawaiian music, fruit punch – these give you that real Island atmosphere. Check your party store or the Oriental Trading Company online for Hawaiian leis, skirts, scenery, paper plates and much more! As guests arrive, place one or two leis around their neck to welcome them in the island way. Have Hawaiian music playing in the background. Get everyone involved in an activity as soon as they arrive, such as making themselves another lei. People in the islands often wear several leis at once, especially for special occasions! You can provide veggies and SCD legal dip for everyone to munch as they work.
